Survey JEM™ - Archive data which is no longer in use
Occasionally there may be a time when a Survey JEM™ client has completed work for a particular customer who has their own permit code. The Survey JEM™ client may not plan to do any further work for the foreseeable future but which to retain the customers data. In this situation there are two facilities available.
- Retain the data on Survey JEM™
- Provide a copy of the data
For a 'belt and braces' approach we advise using both archive facilities.
Archive facility 1 - Retain the data on Survey JEM™
With this option, the data is retained on Survey JEM™ in archive status. This option has the advantage that the data structure is maintained as Survey JEM™ is updated so, should data access be required at any time, the permit can be reverted to fully active status very quickly.
A further advantage of using this option is the archived data is included in the Survey JEM™ daily offsite back up.
Costs for archiving data on Survey JEM™ are set at a standard rate of £12.50 + VAT per 100 MB per annum.
Archive facility 2 - Receive a copy of the data for your own storage
A copy of the data can be provided in an agreed format. The time required for this option would be chargeable at our standard hourly rate of £60 + VAT. The final cost would vary depending on the chosen format and the amount of data stored.
It should be noted that the data structure will be set to the structure at the time of archive. Therefore, should the data be required to be reimported into Survey JEM™ the amount of time required for that process may vary.
Please note
All Survey JEM™ permit, additional user and data storage costs must be paid prior to usage. Overdue invoices will result in a suspension of services until payment is made.
